Structural Drying and Dehumidification in Madisonville, KY
A house is not dry because it looks dry. It is dry when the meter says so. VetDry sets drying equipment to the readings, checks them daily, and hands you the log.

STRUCTURAL DRYING
What is
structural drying?
Removing the water that soaked into the building itself: drywall, framing, subfloor, insulation, cabinets, concrete. Extraction gets the water you can see. Structural drying gets the water you cannot. It takes the right combination of air movement, dehumidification, and heat, placed where the moisture readings say it belongs, and it takes daily monitoring to know when it is finished.

HOW IT WORKS
What equipment does VetDry use?
01

Air movers
Air movers that push air across wet surfaces so moisture evaporates faster.
02

Commercial dehumidifiers
Commercial dehumidifiers that pull that moisture out of the air so it does not settle back into the walls.
03

Moisture meters and thermal imaging
Moisture meters and thermal imaging to find wet material and prove when it is dry.
04

Containment and air scrubbing
Containment and air scrubbing when the water source or the timeline calls for it.
05
Daily Monitoring
We come back to check the readings until the structure is dry, and you get the log.
06

Documentation
Photos, moisture logs, and equipment records in the format adjusters expect.

WHAT TO KNOW
How do you know when it
is actually dry?
We take moisture readings on the first visit, in the wet areas and in an unaffected area of the same material for comparison. That comparison reading is the target. We log readings every day, and the equipment comes out when the wet material reaches the dry standard, not when the calendar says three days. You get the log. So does your adjuster.

BUILT ON FOUR THINGS, DELIVERED EIGHT WAYS

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Why not just rent fans and do it yourself?
Because a box fan dries the surface and leaves the cavity wet, and because you cannot tell when it is done without a meter. The mold jobs we see in summer are very often water jobs somebody dried by eye in spring. Proper drying is the cheapest part of a water loss. Redoing it is the most expensive.
Structural drying is the core of every water damage restoration job, and the step that keeps you off the mold after water damage page. A new brand, not a new team. VetDry is owned by Anthony Brown, an Army infantry veteran who spent four and a half years managing two locations of a large national restoration franchise in Indiana. Production Manager Zachary Brown came up as a technician and production manager in franchise restoration. Together the team brings nearly 10 years of combined experience, plus working relationships with local insurance professionals, adjusters, and plumbers.
